Technology Drives Sport Training

Many  athletes and weekend warriors alike take advantage of the benefits technology brings to the table. Tech can get you faster, stronger, quicker and even smarter at a very fast rate. I’m a firm believer in cross fitness approach to staying in shape because  I do a lot of activities/sports on a semi-regular basis like: basketball, racquetball, soccer, swimming, beach volleyball, biking and dancing. What you put in your body is also a big part of your training regiment which compliments your exercise portion. There is also the mental aspect for the competitive athlete.

So what do you need to get in beach body shape?  Do you want the hard six/eight pack abs, the rounded shoulders, rippling back muscles, shapely legs and explosive calves? Depending on your objective you may want to build define muscle with isolation exercises and multiple set reps. Others may want to bulk up and shed the 98lb weakling persona which means fewer reps with more weights or force to increase muscle mass.
 
We have come a long way from lifting heavy objects to weight training equipment and devices that combine or position the force used in building muscle. Overall weight machines include Universal gym, Solo Flex, Bow Flex, Nautilus to name a few. You could buy these machines for your personal use or go to a local gym and use theirs. Then there specific body part targeting devices for abs, back, core, biceps, triceps, legs and more. There are exercise programs like; Isometrics, Cross fit, P90x, Insanity, Martial Arts,  Zumba, Tae Bo, kick boxing and more that combine muscle building with cardio.
